Culinary Schools by Location - Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania has a large rural population, in fact it is the largest in the US, and has a thriving farming community to go with it. Pennsylvania produces more potato chips, more sausages, more mushrooms than any other state, and also has the largest number of pretzel bakeries, licensed bakeries and meat packing plants than any other state.
So culinary arts may have a rather interesting time in Pennsylvania, but there is no doubt that it also has a reputation for good food, and one that the culinary schools do much to uphold. Studying here will give you the basis for a successful career as a chef, a baker or a sausage maker - what else would you want?
