Culinary Schools by Location - Texas
Texas has a culinary tradition that reflects its varied history. The influences on Texan cuisine include the cowboy traditions of steak, barbeque and outdoor cookery, Mexican spicy dishes - developing the Tex-Mex dishes that we are all familiar with, Spanish and French cookery and of course, to the south, the seafood dishes.
Culinary schools in Texas reflect these influences, but they teach other cuisines as well. European cuisine, Asian cuisines and Indian cookery are all popular, and figure in the syllabi of the culinary schools. This is a good place to learn the different ideas of different nations, and share ideas across the cuisines.
