Texas Culinary Academy
Texas Culinary Academy is located in the capital city of Austin, Texas, known as the live music capital of the country. An educational mecca with seven area universities and a lively, growing artistic and cultural scene, Austin is a perfect setting for the Texas Culinary Academy.
Texas Culinary Academy offers an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. The program blends classical French cuisine with American inventiveness in a fast-paced 15-month period. In addition to theory and technique, the program gives students practical, hands-on experience with innovative methods and classical techniques. Students are introduced to more than 25 foreign cuisines combined with a cross-cultural spirit.
Students receive rigorous hands-on education consisting of lab and general education coursework along with practical experience in VENTANA, TCA's own fine-dining restaurant. Students learn what works in both the front and back of the house, as well as how it all works together!
