Culinary Schools
When you start to look at where you want to study, you will find many culinary schools offering many different courses, and it can be difficult to make a selection. It's worthwhile working out a simple list of your needs, and using this to eliminate schools and courses that do not offer the options you need. This list should include issues such as geographical location, length and level of course, final qualification, subjects studied and the type of teaching methods and delivery of course you prefer.
Although different courses offer different subjects, there are similarities in all culinary courses. You will study food preparation methods, food and nutrition, kitchen management, food and beverage control, presentation, kitchen hygiene and similar subjects. You will also find that much of your study is practical, working in study kitchens, and in some courses you may find that you are working in industry for short periods of time.
Below is a list of our partner Culinary Schools and Culinary Institutes throughout the United States. You can read more about each culinary school or institute on this site or click on the name of the culinary school that interests you to request information from that school.
